FS-EC in a Nutshell

The Experiment control group at DESY Photon Science offers support to the DESY-FS staff and users with priority to the user facilites PETRA III and Flash. The services include:

• Experiment Control hardware and software support
• TANGO & Sardana software development and support
• Support with data and metadata handling
• Support with area detectors on beamlines and their IT infrastructure
• Interface between PETRA&FLASH and DESY-IT (e.g. data management)
• General IT-support (Windows & Linux)
• Experiment specific electronics and electronics development
